It's been 30 years of dedicated assault on ALL the peoples of this planet. So not so strange to posit that if we allow the bankers and resource rapists to continue as they have, unchecked... we too will be scrounging in the garbage for a few crumbs.

I watched a documentary a couple of weeks ago which claimed that 40 million Americans where now in poverty. Are they a third world nation, no not in my opinion. There going through the same as most countries are..

Haven't read all the comments yet - everyone has a theory about the cause of poverty - I am more interested in hearing some solutions.
for the longest time, people were trying to figure out why people were homeless - well, duh they finally agreed that it was because they were without a home and did not have the resources to obtain one. I am not talking about buying a home, I am talking about having a place fit for human habitation to sleep at night.
Stop with the "looking for a cause" and look to the solution.

It will be soon when the dollar is worth nothing. The reason: In 1913 the Federal Reserve Bank was established. That bank, which is privately owned, not a federal government agency, began printing the dollar and LOANING it to the people at interest.
If you don't believe me, look for the Federal Reserve Bank in the government pages of your phone book. You won't find it there. Why? Because it privately owned.
The interest now is over $16 trillion. That's also why the IRS was formed, to collect the debt on this interest from salaries of the American people. If you really want to learn, read the IRS code. There is nothing in it that says that people have to pay income tax on their SALARY. NOTHING. The IRS just wants you to think that you do. Bloody liars!
The way inflation was explained to me is if you print up $5.00 it is worth $5.00. When you print up one more dollar, it is still worth $5.00, in other words, each dollar is worth 80 cents. That's inflation. Now, of course, trillions of dollars have been printed up. The last I heard was the dollar is worth about 2.5 cents. This is why it takes so much more money to buy things including property.
The only way that the USA will survive this is to GET RID of the Federal Reserve Bank. Good luck doing that. It would be a miracle to achieve that now. Congress is so controlled by those who own the Fed that it isn't even funny.
