Wondering what your opinion would be if you had met someone on the internet and chatted regularly and all of sudden stopped communicating with them for no reason at all or any explanation or reply or good bye. How would Spunkie react if his true princess did that to him? What would Spunkie feel? What is your opinion on people like this?

Happens all the time - don't take it personally.

This is true. Not taking personally just wondering how others see it. I think it is a terrible thing to do.

But I do take it personally. We're all here for different things, under the disguise (?) of a long term relationship. I'm just out of a 17 year marriage, and I don't know what I want. Marriage again? No way! (read: not today, but never say never!) A long term relationship? The thought of dating terrifies me! But I don't want to be alone for the rest of my life. So here I am, trying to connect with someone on a friendship level, open to advancement of a relationship. Nine times out of 10, checking out the site reduces me to sobbing, knowing that "a few pounds extra" relegates me to life alone. So yes, if a flower or message isn't answered, I chalk it up to the fact that he read my profile, and we didn't fit, ugly, smoker, (reality....fine) and that of all the men who read my profile, none could find any redeeming qualities (depressing....and very personal).

i have made some great friendships here and even though I am still searching for my mate I feel my stay here has been a success.

Mee too, Jackie! I didn't even know anything about the Furoms until I starting playing around with the site a few weeks ago. Now I have met the best people in the world!

If I meet my dream man here -what a BONUS that would be!
