Martia: Oh dear somebody must have stolen his credit card and then replaced it when he wasn't looking...poor little mite.

martia Australian Politics can and does get real dirty, I've personally experienced a few dirty tricks from them my self.

He renounced his NZ citizenship in 2007 and stood for election in a Liberal held seat and won, so i'm not at all surprised the dirty pricks tried something.

Before you jump in i suggest that you check up, Thomson has already taken Fairfax Media to court in relation to the same matter.

Other than those that disliked being attacked by the likes of Bush Howard and Blair, people in this country are still entitled to a presumption of innocence

however the spill if it occurs (might) whether or not Labor can then still maintain the numbers to govern runs to Thomson's seat, my sitting member (Speaker in the Lower House), Andrew Wilkie and other the three Lower House independence. The numbers run to those issues to

I think Steven Smith would make a good prime minister but he will never get the chance as he is too honest and too gentle they would eat him alive.

To get the to the position as PM you have to be utterly ruthless,a skin like a rhino and no conscience what so ever plus lie at every chance you get.

Yep Gillard and Rudd fit the bill perfectly. grin

It's the only thing the right wing media can push at the moment.
We will be debt free next year while the US has 200 trillion $ of borrowings costing them 15 trillion $ in interest a year.
European countries are in the same boat.
Meanwhile all the right wing pollies and media can come up with is Gillard and Rudd are having a pow wow.
Maybe if the right wing pollies got some policy happening to turn around the high AU$ and job losses in industry using their intelligence rather than always attacking the people, they may just be able to win the next election.
Going the way they are with their personal attacks, they won't get very far just like football teams who play the man instead of the ball, they lose.

I think we should just vote the federal government off the island! The Governor General can divide the tax moneys up too the states, instant budget surplus if you cancel all the duplication of ministers and cut out the free flights! That way the tax money can go where it is suppose too! Hospitals Roads and Education,
No matter who gets in at the next election, you can guarantee it is going to cost us money!

When we listen to everyone around us, well I think everybody i know and have listened to, the only ones that believe that the politicians know what they are doing are the politicians

I tune into 2UE, 2GB or 3MTR and think to myself, are you guys for real?
Their diatribe is just an attack on your intelligence as they replay their record again and again with the same BS.
Being a puppet for the mining industry and other groups just doesn't allow for entertaining or thought provoking listening.

Rather hard to work out just who is responsible for government activities. Decided to see if i could gain a glimpse of what is reported the people in Greece are getting lumbered with after it was reported the American hid the extent of the countries borrowings...some snippets...

Greece Austerity Measures a tentative agreement will see the private-sector minimum wage cut by 22 per cent and the elimination of as many as 150,000 government jobs by 2015.
In 2009, 2010, and 2011, workers and students in Greece and other European countries demonstrated against cuts to pensions, public services and education spending as a result of government austerity measures.

To secure a second bailout deal Greece must accept:
A 22 per cent cut in the monthly minimum wage to €586
Layoffs for 15,000 of civil servants
An end to dozens of job guarantee provisions
A 20 per cent cut in its government work force by 2015
Spending cuts of more than €3 billion in 2012
Further cuts to retiree pension benefits

another report states
Public sector wages to be cut by 20 per cent, and wages of state-owned enterprises to be cut by 30 per cent
30,000 civil servants to be put on partial pay — meaning 60 per cent of regular pay for one year

Monthly pensions above 1,000 euros to be cut by 20 per cent; monthly pensions at the same level for existing retirees under 55 to be cut by 40 per cent
Health spending to be cut by 310 million euros ($432.2 million Cdn) in 2011, a further 1.8 billion euros between 2012 and 2015
Education spending to be trimmed through merging or closing of 1,976 schools
Defence spending to be cut by 200 million euros in 2012, and 333 million every year from 2013 to 2015

Taxes
The tax-free income threshold to be lowered from 12,000 to 5,000 euros
In an effort to raise money for the growing number of unemployed, the country is to introduce a "solidarity levy”" of between one and five per cent per household, which will be raised twice in 2012
Taxes on gas, cigarettes and alcohol to increase by one third; luxury taxes to be levied on items like pools and yachts
The rates for the value-added tax (VAT) — similar to Canada's HST — to increase

Government Sell-offs
Selling 10 per cent of Hellenic Telecom to Deutsche Telekom for 400 million euros
Selling stakes in various banks, utilities, ports, airports and land holdings in 2011/2012

I am of the belief that is just what America wants to happen another depression to force to build arms and send thee sons off so politicians can proudly pronounce we shall remember them, ask yourself can you remember my father, or WW1 Mr Boyd next door neighbor no of course not is just whole load of rubbish other peoples young people are used for.

Took only six years or something for America to get back in the black after the last depression driven by its arms industry. Dunno who they tink they are kidding but i'm certain its not all of us

Carbon Tax to build cleaner energy, oh its raining, Rain Tax

I got a letter from the State Govt informing me that i was now going to pay a tax for the rain that falls on my property - which is captured in the drainage system already paid for by my taxes and land taxes - I was so tempted to contact them and tell them they could expect a bill from me for the use of the creek on my property - I know for a fact that they had no part in creating that

Constitution says: -
100. The Commonwealth shall not, by any law or regulation of trade or commerce, abridge the right of a State or of the residents therein to the reasonable use of the waters of rivers for conservation or irrigation.

You might advise the State Government that you have decided to redirect the water into the creek away from your drainage system as a conservation measure

Actually there is drainage - installed by us - and open drainage that drains into the creek - just goes to show that the state govet is full of **it.

If that drainage system is legal (IF) perhaps you might advice State they appear to have got there facts wrong many years ago as a conservation measure all the properties down pipes and water runoff flows into a creek on the property

I find your information quite interesting - we only have leach drains for sewerage - its not as if we need their drainage - the runoff would be environmentally friendly if it was directed back into the creek - rather than into drains that dont hook up to any main sewarage or drainaage system

Well you better make sure what you have is legal before you write anything, and i can see your much better at explaining environmentally friendly conservation measures were put in place etc

mee i got to go night night
PS of course you should let your hair down wysteriouslaugh
