Obscuritan: I feel sorry for Julia she just wasn't ready - she hasn't got what it takes. Doesn't matter who they put in next they can't win the next election, provided the libs have the sense to put Turnbull in and get rid of Abbott.
Biggest game of musical seats the last 3 or 4 years!australia

Well, what a shame to get rid of Julia now that she has finally mastered the art of speaking words in riddles, paraphrasing, and confusing everyone... that used to be a sign of a good polly... rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

the other sign of a good polly was to talk in monotone and have everyone asleep before the speech finished... grin

I reckon Kev Rudd mastered both arts, but was shot outta the circus before he mastered the other sign.... talk talk talk and promises, promises, promises, but dont be seen to renege on them, but do it anyway...

Yeah, he copped it for the mining tax... letsee what happens, sigh

I think non resident share holders profiting from selling Australian minerals should pay some tax

I think a lot more sense than the carbon tax

Waht Abbott says to the media, must be as worrisome to his party faithful, as the value of the euro is to the eurozone.

She might have made an unfortunate decision or two, but a moron she is hardly.

yes - maybe moron is not a good choice of word to describe her - dishonest and backstabbing, underhand and deceitful are probably more apt

Hi Martia - the trouble is - all the politicians are clones as are the political parties - we only have two to choose from and they are both ineffective - bring back Pauline.

Well us Liberal voters must plead guilty as charged on that one Tone, but we did leave the COFFERS FULL AND OVERFLOWING, didn`t take your crowd long to empty them, now the country broke, and we`ve got a new CARBON TAX...

The GST was not such a bad thing - consider for exmple that on some things eg womens personal items - we were paying close to 30%. We can't escape Death or taxes - but at least we have a fairer tax system.

And - will it realistically be anything more than extra money in the government coffers - coz the carbon tax plan is still very vague.

robplum: Oh there has been allegations raised however

Craig Thomson does not deny that the card, was his credit card, he believes it was used wrongly. He doesn’t deny that. He simply denies being the person who used the card.

Oh dear somebody must have stolen his credit card and then replaced it when he wasn't looking...poor little mite.rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing wink
