Hi TartanK....I would love someone to invent a lipstick that stays put, giving me the perfect pout until I decide to wash it off!! 
Oh and Im with you on the mobile phone thingy...I especially think they should be banned in ALL restaurants/coffee shops etc!! When Im eating my dinner or reading my newspaper over a coffee, the last thing I want to do is listen to someones boring conversation, usually held at the top of their voice too.....aaaaaarrrrggghhhhh!!!

An observation I have made is that London has turned into a city of zombies
with the mutants walking blindly down the street staring blankly at smartphones 
A couple of years ago I bought a mobile phone jammer not illegal to own but illegal to use, I bought it online imported from China and it comes in handy when I need to shut some loudmouth up, I turn it on and it jams all signals in a 50mtr radius
I would like someone to invent some sort of smoking box. Something just for the smokers on a ciggie break outside of their work place, they can sit in there and choke on their own smoke instead of blowing it out at passers by.
A mobile phone that automatically adds 3 points onto the license of anyone who uses it whilst driving.
A robot that could go into work and do my job almost as well as me.

May be reconsidering the move as I have got a brill GP and Dentist plus support with transport to and fro Hospital[I'm a non driver] so lots of things to really consider before I take the plunge.

That's done on purpose. They know people leave the room to get a drink while the adverts are on, so they increase the volume, so as people can still hear them selling their crap.

i wish someone would invent computers that dont crash
I would like someone to invent mobile phones, computers and TVs that are modular, repairable and upgradeable. These things are too flushable and the waste they create is unacceptable. A mobile phone that's current and in good knick at 3 years old is almost unheard of...
