I did a small study once when I was bored.

I threw lots of toast into the air, and counted the times it fell butter side up, or down.

It meant nothing when the figures couldn't come up with an average or consistency.

Pretty much the same as the study in the OP's link. Just too many variables to make it matter.

Anyone with a modicum of intellience.

Anyone who respects humanity.

Anyne who likes to discuss a well researched point.

In fact just about anyone on this thread.

Count them, but you already know what folk think and you keep on posting the same poorly researched rubish.

Even Pavlov's dog learned, unlike you....grin cheers

As I stated earlier,-in a previous post,-I agree,-my intellect isn´t half yours,-hardly 1/3..

But that,you know already!

As for Pavlov,-he did the same experiment´s on children...

AtwoZ: Do you lie awake at night, and worrying about,well,-almost everything...life,love,money,future,how to get a date on CS....don´t worry,-that´s a good sign..it actually means your IQ is higher than average,-and that´s not a bad comfort in your misery......

A new, shocking study shows that intelligent people worry more than average intellects or dummies.....

You know, in my opinion, worrying isn`t quite a sign of above average IQ, its the ability to find solution for problems...

Finally,-a good answer....For some strange reason,some seem to believe I made this research,-but you´re answering the article,and that´s good...

Of course not,this is another silly,(which I love),survey....Stupid,but fun...

Isn´t worrying what one does when one doesn´t have the ability to find solutions for problems? confused

Because if one has the ability to find solutions for problems, why worry?

dunno

wor·ry (wûr, wr)
v. wor·ried (wûrd, wr-), wor·ry·ing, wor·ries (wûrz, wr-)
v.intr.
1. To feel uneasy or concerned about something; be troubled.
2. To pull or tear at something with or as if with the teeth.
3. To proceed doggedly in the face of difficulty or hardship; struggle: worried along at the problem.
v.tr.
1. To cause to feel anxious, distressed, or troubled. See Synonyms at trouble.
2. To bother or annoy, as with petty complaints.

Why spend time doing all that stuff if we know a solution is to be found?

To think over something in order to find a solution is not the same as to worry about it. But may be I´m wrong

dunno

Why use Wiki or any other encyclopedia,if we know the solution?

But doesn't it depend on the nature of the subject and the consequences of not finding an adequate solution.

If the consequence could be a dire one then to worry is natural I would have thought.

Good question, but there is a time limit in 99% involved
