Absolutely nothing!! After having lived in the tropics on and off for years, I really hate winters and can live perfectly happy without the cold, the freezing rain and even the snow and all the heavy clothing. I'd rather be in a loincloth (Armani, naturally, with Gucci sandals) all day under a palm tree...I am running away to Cozumel, live on the beach til I gather enough driftwood to build a shack, them open my own business; the world's first glass bottom bus tours of the island! I'm going as soon as I pack enough peanut butter sandwiches...soon!laugh

I love winter.
I can train without falling over from heat stress.banana
I can wear more than my underwear. I like nice clothes, but for at least six months of the year it is much to hot here in Queensland for more than what could be considered to be beach attire.
The mornings are beautiful where I live. There is frost, fog and a crispness to the air that is invigorating.
I also do not have to smell the body odour of other people. Public transport is a nightmare during summer. help

Not to worry, there are aux. power plugs for hairdryers that go in instead of the cigarette lighter...(saw a woman driving a Rolls once and she was drying her hair at the traffic light)what's next, iron the grass for your grass skirt; easy, I can just put it under the wheels and go back an' forth over it a few times: problem solved or don't wear one ...laugh

Sounds like my place... I love where I live, its a little colder than in the Adelaide plains, but the smell of the valley is just unbelievably nice.. We have fog, jack frost comes a visiting, and crisp air... I dont mind about 24 degrees, but I also dont like less than 14 degrees.. But I realise that watching the seasons come and go is wonderful too.. so I really dont mind.

We are very spoilt really... we have heating and cooling, so when its really cold, I sit in my bed with my electric blanket and I am quite fine with that...

What I really hate tho... is a perfect week of winter sunshine, and then it rains all weekend... frustrated which sometimes happens... damn.... !!!
