In response to: The Pentagon has a ready plan for a military attack on Iran, the American ambassador in Israel warned days before a key meeting over the controversial nuclear program of the Islamic Republic.
Western countries and Israel are exerting pressure on Iran to stop uranium enrichment, saying that Tehran is secretly trying to build a nuclear bomb. Iran insists that its nuclear program is strictly civil.
"It would be preferable to resolve this diplomatically and through the use of pressure than to use military force," US Ambassador Dan Shapiro said in remarks about Iran aired by Israel's Army Radio on Thursday.The conflict is to be discussed in Baghdad on May 23, when envoys from the P5+1 group, which includes Britain, China, France, Germany, Russia and the US, are to meet Iranian negotiators. The previous round of talks was held in Istanbul on April 14.

Nothing will happen. If a nuclear armed rougue like Israel can be at large, Iran is a lesser evil so far. I think what they should really be worried about is Pakistan and China!

Pakistan and India had a few wars between them ( 4 so far as I know) both of them have nuclear weapon but none of them is ready to use it ...
In the case of Iran , they know it that they would be vaporizer if they even remotely tried anything ,seems they are just looking for equality on the negotiating table...

Just in case anyone tries to deny that the US used tactical nukes on Iraq, here's proof. The nuke goes off at 3:57.

I think the American founding fathers would be appalled at this financial hijacking of its political destiny.
Strange why you would say that the strategic objectives of keeping Qutbism from overtaking the Middle East is not in the interests of the US much less the world. In this aspect, considering the benefactors of the Arab Spring movement Israel provides a rock solid foot hold to ensure that at least that particular corner of the ME is not part of it.
Look up Inchon sometime to see what a small piece of friendly land can signify when involved in a larger struggle.
