One for the guys, are you someone who prefers a cool headed gal, calm and collected in personality.. or do you prefer one who can blow her top easily, wears her emotions on her sleeves?

ummm... Given how Fiesty{sic} is used here as a euphemism for what most men would recognise as Nutz™, I'll pick the safe option and go for Reserved. grin

I guess, in the eyes of a man, a Lady who is reserved has an element of mystery to her as oppossed to a fiesty Lady who portrays the element of fire?...

There's a few practicalities aswell. Reserved means you can be sure she won't make a show of herself in a social setting by losing her temper for example. But TOO reserved could be seen as unsociable and odd.

As in aloof?... So a man's ideal Lady would be reserved in public, yet fiesty in private?

I'm working off your descriptions here: "cool headed gal, calm and collected" vs "blow her top easily, wears her emotions on her sleeves"

So in my previous example in a social setting, will she get really mad and unreasonable if the waiter brings out the wrong starter? Or will she behave herself. :)

Aloof means something different... too reserved means not engaging with others or smiling or whatever.

Now, as in ideal lady, I don't think you can narrow that down at all. Everyone's got different ideas about their lady. There is no ideal.

MADDOG69: No. Urban legend says that the quiet ones are the Bedroom Tigresses. There's some truth to that... so I heard. :)

You have not been misinformed... (I state quietly and reservedly) blushing

Very well explained Maddog69, and I personally believe that Men in general are more tolerant of a Woman's temperment/emotions, be it out of respect, fear or ignorance.
So fiesty or reserved...would most men say that every woman possesses such traits at some stage?

I can only go on my limited experience. My last relationship, she was generally very reserved in public. Said very little. However if she had an intense dislike of someone (all my friends for example), she would have no problem getting physical with them... yes that's right... throw a few punches. And at me aswell LOL. Her previous boyfriend before me cheated on her in front of her and she put a pint glass in his face.

I can appreciate a girl that sticks up for herself. grin

Since I'm a lady pls allow me to give my humble two cents in a vice-versa situation.

I would choose feisty, since being reserved doesn't mean there would be NO surprises along the way. I'd rather know where I stand from day one.

Female comments more than welcomed, maybe We will get an all round view more so, yes twinself, having a side to us not too predictable will keep a man on his toes lol.
And Maddog69, not all of us "mountain women" are violent, but you sure did come across a wild one!
Fiesty in an undertone way and reserved in a social way, maybe that is the desired choice of men?
