Not to sound shallow or anything but if i find someones appearance unattractive or gross or whatnot, it's just not happening 
now, you should understand that not everyones idea of attractive, beautiful, etc is the same...what i find attractive, another may find gross...understand? 
Now, just because i find someone attractive doesnt mean that if their personality is ugly or gross, they wont get the boot "toot-sweet" from me 
But yes, it IS important as that is what attracts us/catches our eye in the first place

Most people says that beauty is not important. But on the end it is first impression that counts. If you don't think you are handsome, try to impress someone with your personality - means interesting mails or conversation in real. From a personal experience i know if i get a mail (doesn't matter good looking guy or not) where is just hi or how are you or used prewritten mail, i'm not especially interested.
And no matter what's your look, if someone has a decent style, good haircut and looks after themselfs. then there is no really bad looking person :)

depend on the intention. I don't mind talking/making friends to anyone, even if they're ugly or "faceless", but I want my partner to be looking okay.. I don't need a modelesque faced partner, I just don't want him to be really ugly.

Yeah thanks people i wanted to ask as it was sone girl who emailed me on here out of the blue she said i wouldnt get any one intressed in me cause of the way i look was a little up setting as im only over weight due to being very sick last year and now im slowly starting to lose the weight again i even moved countrys to start a fresh.

Sounds like SHE was the ugly one in that instance...don't listen to her (hard, i know) and remember, there is always someone out there who finds every type handsome/beautiful, etc

To me you don't have to be blessed with beauty, but you need to be a caring, honest, loyal, and have personality. not be a self centered sod.
