Yesterday Jordan and Syria had a border incident. Details are thin.....but seemed to be a fleeing group of Sunni into Jordan were involved.
But border forces of both countries were firing on each other. Jordain reported no casualities. Syria did not file a report on the incident.
This was not small arms fire by the way. But armor units were engaged.

I saw a special on Apello yesterday. Some SFA were trying to enter the city with a western reporter in a lorry. The Syrian Army had cleared all the small towns 15 miles outside of the city of civilians. Making a isolation area around the city.
They could not get any closer than the 15 miles.
So siege tactics comes to mind here. Ummmm as does...Alamo....Warsaw Ghetto....Bastogne......Stalingrad.....Corrigedor.....the fall of Berlin which never seem to end well for the defenders.
