In a fair fight truth will win out over delusion every time.

So those who prefer delusion (whether they be deluders or deludees) always avoid exposing their fallacies to any sort of comparative analysis. Their fallacies are puny and dysfunctional compared to the truth.

As some have stated elsewhere, youtube is but a medium.
One can find both truth and ridiculous fiction on youtube.

But the same thing is true for a public library, advertising, or life in general.

The buyer must always beware.
Because there are liars out there with a vested interest in deceiving others.
And there are idiots who prefer lies because the truth scares them.

Anyone who even uses the term "conspiracy theorists" falls into one of those categories.

The search for truth must be continuous and it must never just take the "official" explanation for granted. Especially when the voice of authority is telling us to pay no attention to what is going on behind the curtain.

In the case of big events with political ramifications there is a very strong chance that the official government explanation is politically motivated. There is even a strong chance that the event may have been perpetrated by someone other than the one being blamed for the express purpose of affecting public opinion and justifying some sort of action that the public wouldn't support if not outraged by the event.

The controlled media will only offer a limited selection of very similar versions of the official lie.

Youtube and the internet in general however offer an unlimited number of widely varied viewpoints.

It still falls to the individual to compare and reason and connect the dots and to arrive at what he or she considers to be the most probable truth. (realizing that even that "theory" must be left open to revision or replacement as time goes by).

People who don't analyze and compare various theories are sure to be duped.

Critically analyzing and comparing theories is called the "scientific method".

Unquestioning acceptance of official claims diffused by governments and the controlled corporate media is called "thought control".

Right, especially when they are officially declared to be coincidences.

Excellent. Well said Ray. However I seriously doubt that most 'sheeple' have the mental agility to analyze and compare...thinking gives many headaches; far easier to take their daily 'Soma'...wine

And did you catch the part about their puny dysfunctional fallacies (phali-cies)?

I think the ghost of Shakespeare helped me on that one.

Well, I'll respond since you're cute.

If you notice in my post, I put the words "conspiracy theorist" between quotation marks. ("__").

Such marks have several different usages but in general they serve to indicate that the words between them should not be attributed to the writer (in this case to me) but to others who are being "quoted".

I never refer to anybody as a "conspiracy theorist" because I feel that the term for human beings "homo-sapiens" refers only to beings with enough common sense to continually critically analyze everything they are told. Especially information from authoritarian sources such as government and media.

Those who fail to do are certainly not "thinking men" but belong to a similar-looking species of walking vegetable. Homo-ovisaries.

It's too late to avoid infection.
We've all been exposed.
And we've all spent some time deluded in the matrix.

But we can wake up to reality by proper mental hygiene and exercise. And by taking the red pill, the one that opens our eyes to the truth instead of the more appealing delusion.

The thing that always amazes me about conspiracy theories is how elaborate they are, how flimsy alleged links are, and the enormous lengths people will go to trying to prove that a conspiracy actually happened.
And woe betide anyone who points out any huge gaping holes in the theory, they must be part of the conspiracy or have brainwashed.
