The Irish ones get their money from the state. They don't have birth certs and a lot claim to not be able to sign their name. This makes it easy for them to sign on under different I.D's and collect the dole in about 5 or 6 different post offices. Thats where a lot get their money.

On the continent a group of them will march into a posh restaurant when it is full and just sit down on the floor. It's up to the manager to hand them a few hundred euro as soon as he can to get them to leave. They have any amount of scams but the harassment of customers is an easy blackmail tool in most instances. Watch this video where the manager has had enough when another Roma turns up to get harassment money.

The Irish Government has relaxed restrictions on Romanian and Bulgarian workers allowing them full access to Ireland’s labor market, well ahead of the initially set deadline. I think we need tighter restriction on foreign workers in Ireland. We also need to speed up the asylum process. Some people are here 10 years before they are found be be here either legally or illegally. Its not good for them or the state.

The other day I read Spain are going to impose restrictions on everyone (except nationals). Basically if they can't cover basic health care themselves then they are getting kicked out. I know in France you have to be in the system at least three yrs before you get social security...
Swiss are doing (thinking about) the same type of restrictions.

No....Just as much as someone who is born in the US with some Irish blood does not make them Irish. They are still American!
