That species have evolved over time is pretty evident. But the Darwinian theory that claimms that life developed from non-life and then diversified into ever more complex species by an endless series of random accidental circumstances is clearly not true.

For example, DNA and RNA are encoded information. And all life contains such codes, even the simplest forms. And the existence of a code implies intelligent design. Nature can neither create codes nor decipher them.

There has to be some sort of intelligence behind the creation of life.
It cannot possibly have arisen by a series of accidents. Nor can it evolve from simpler to more complex forms by accident.

You obviously don't know Darwins theory of natural selection or you wouldn't make such absurd statements. "the existence of a code implies intelligent design."? It implies nothing of the kind. One rung of the DNA helix can get damaged by a cosmic ray or radiation or some other defect which could give rise to a mutation which gets passed into the stream of heridity and becomes a new trait.
Every time a woman gives birth it's an example of evolution.

Just a wild guess, but when you were a teacher you did not teach science or philosophy, did you?
If you had, you would not have stated such irrational absurdities.
1. "is clearly not true"
Really?
On what evidence do you base that?
2. "the existence of a code implies intelligent design."
Really?
On what evidence do you base that?
3. "There has to be some sort of intelligence . . . yada, yada, yada"
Really?
On what evidence do you base that?
Apparently you are not familiar with how natural selection works, nor the latest research into how the initial spark of life came to be.
Perhaps believing in an imaginary friend in the sky makes it easier for you to deal with your own limited life span and the looming oblivion of death. I have observed that the people who are the most afraid to die are those who cling to religion.
I always laugh when I hear the term 'creation science'. That is the best example of an oxymoron of which I know.

So does this mean that 46% of the population would still rather have any fairy tale that someone spouts rather than a proven fact? confused

I don't know what Obama believes about how the human race came to be, do you? As for that other guy, the devout Mormon, I think it's a safe bet that he believes that this so called god created man and he probably also believes the earth is about 6000 years old.

You're a very clever word smith. Back in New York City where I grew up I met a lot of guys like you, we called them con artists. After a while you learn to detect the methods they use to get over on the weak minded, people who can't see the subtle misdirections and innuendos they employ. Like your first sentence:
"And the guy Obama listened to for twenty years is one of them!"
This is designed to link Obama to Rev Wright the implication being that they both share the same beliefs ie Wright is a creationist therefore Obama must be one.
Your second sentence:
"Elect a creationist if you will Ooby but most people probably will not."
This sets the claim that Obama is a creationist and the other guy, by contrast is not.
That was a pretty good attempt at role reversal and it probably planted a seed in fertile Grey matter but it had CON JOB written all over it.

I know he sat in a pew for twenty years and was lectured on creationism without saying anything different.

I think it's a safe bet you don't have a clue as the Mormon Church doesn't believe in it either.

Romney;
“I believe that God designed the universe and created the universe, and I believe evolution is most likely the process he used to create the human body.”

I've got a BA in biology (and 2 other majors besides). I would bet that my understanding of Darwin's theories is at least as good as your own, and probably considerably better.

Sure DNA can get damaged.
Entropy is a basic force of nature.
Order tends to degenerate towards disorder.
Never the other way around except where there is some sort of guiding control.

Random forces tend toward disorder, not order.
That's the second law of thermodynamics.
Life can violate that rule because life processes are not random. They are controlled and guided.

But (according to Darwin) somehow life just happened by accident and then over billions of years and billions of more accidents life diversified and became more complex.

Each "improvement" is a clear violation of the laws of physics. Random change does not build anything. On the contrary it causes degeneration and corruption. It destroys, but it cannot build.

Evolutionists have long claimed that life just created itself by accident. They cite as "proof" the fact that some amino acids and other organic compounds can be formed by non-organic processes.

However they never address the fact that there is no way in the world for chemically encoded genetic information to have ever arisen by any sort of non-organic process and there is no life on earth that exists without such chemically encoded genetic information.

Life cannot have arisen from non-life.
There has to be an intelligence behind life.
Call it what you will, there is a guiding intelligence behind nature.

I've never enjoyed more inner peace than when I threw off the shackles of religion and the fear and guilt that it bestowed on me. I've come to accept the fact that I will take my last breath one day and 1000 years from now, no trace of my existance will remain. The same goes for you. You and all other believers can't accept that fact, so you invent imaginary beings to protect you and give you comfort.
When the fat lady sings, it's GAME OVER. There is no second bite of the apple. The sooner you accept that fact, the sooner you will experience what REAL inner peace is, not the made up kind.

BTW, The percentage of non believers is trending up, not down.

So the numbers say that FORTY ONE PERCENT ARE DEMOCRATS to 58 percent Republicans.

That's a fairly good number of Democrats...
