john12196341: at least there is a small conselation. we the republicans control the house and we will block any bill and appointment by this person for the next 4 years and make his life miserable until we take back what is rightfully ours namely the white house and bring back american values and american military strenght back on line and undo the damage this liar has made if there is a nation left to make better. for the next 4 years i will not support obama, pray for him or support his polices but i will support this nation intead. my alligence is with this nation.

The House of Representatives may be a minor thorn in Obamas side but their powers are limited to
1. The power to try all impeachments.
2. The power to ratify treaties.
3. The power to advise and consent to all Executive Branch appointments made by the President.
With these three powers the Senate is able to limit the power of the Executive Branch.
