I will admit, this country is no where near as wonderful as it claims and there are countless ways I would like to see it improve, however, the portion of the country that does have common sense and intelligent things to say largely goes unnoticed while the much louder voices of the degenerates become the focal point of the whole world. The media is quick to announce stories of the stupidity of some of my countrymen and it convinces anyone without a strong perspective that we all share the same views or these types of people are in the majority. Yes, like any country, we have a share of “special” individuals but many are quite normal. I do not favor blanket statements from people and I believe you should reconsider them in the future. No country is perfect and every one of them has groups that it disdains.

That's all there is to it. I agree we ain't perfect. And I personally am ready anytime to discuss our faults and flaws. But that ain't good enough for some folk in Switzerland or Finland or Ireland. They wish they were here, and they ain't, so they gotta whine whine whine whine whine about how terrible we are. Well, shrug it off, and point out to them their frequent contradictions. Meanwhile, keep on rockin' in the USA.

Some people cannot look at the big picture. They have tunnel vision. It is as if they live in a box and only see a certain distance. That goes even for some americans

I assure you he last place on earth I want to live is the US. Apart from dodging bullets your way of life is far to removed from Europe, a good place to visit but long term , not for me.

As for our country and its mistakes, I am one of the first people to lay out criticism on our country but my statement was NOT about the policies of our country; it was about the unfair judgment of the individuals as a result of policies, media and other negative examples. I am perfectly fine with people criticizing the US but I do not like when people say things like, “Americans are spoiled little children” or Americans are this or that. My point is, not all Americans are reflections of the unfortunate examples that people notice first. There are many good people and I would think people would understand that stereotypes are never always accurate.
