Well, let me say this from a guy point, if I may:

Using common decency and manners tells me when meeting someone and if I don't want to go, it is as simply as sent a mail/call and say no, i am noy going. Just have to be honest and straightforward. It's good manners, good character and the we certainly appreciate honesty....
You (and everyone) deserves a "truck" that runs....

Then back to my original post. Tell him you are willing to wait for him to have a drive-able truck. If he doesn't have the finances to fix his truck or the logical mind to find solutions to come meet you, then...he wouldn't be my type of man. But that's just me.

Shouldn't he have cleaned up the truck in case the opportunity came about. He's not prepared. Either way if she has to pick him up he still has to get in her car and be alone with him. What if he says lets go to the park and talk? Red flag. I have a problem with that. She only knows what he says on the internet.
