john12196341: once again america got screwed. this time when 2 americans were overlooked by the church.i say it will be business as usual because the new pope won't fix the problems facing the church. i don't trust this man at all period. instead reforming the church it will stay the same as before. i am not catholic but was baptaized one and i feel it is time to have a pope that will clean out the church entirily.
when are Americans going to understand you dont rule the world do not have a say in other peoples business Two american cardinals how about 46 from Europe and are we moaning no wake and smell the coffee

Sorry to disagree with you, any time a new Pope is elected there is a long process of common prayers from cardinals before each vote, where the Saint Spirit is especially invocated to choose the good one amongst them all (no Priests elect the Pope, only available Cardinals). I know it's not evident for atheists or agnostics but for us Christians, it is called the Sacred Choice of God... since Peter and until the Last Pope.. anyway, i respect all kind of faiths and non-faiths, just please respect Ours.. Thank you kindly wave

Mr. Tomcats,

Please understand that the voice of one U.S. citizen does not constitute the voice of All U.S. citizens.

Time to throw away that wide brush,
Thank you,
