One thing for sure...if only one party is writing a line per day, and the other party is not communicating, there seems to be a lack of any kind of relationship there.

Maybe he needs to develop more in depth communication skills, but maybe you need to develop more patience.
Relationships require work, whoever you're with.
Maybe the relationship is not compatible and not right for you, but before you throw things away, consider if you also need to develop in order to have a happy, healthy relationship.
One day at a time is not a bad policy in my book. If you can still learn, develop and enjoy someone's company for one more day and that day would be better for having that person around rather than not, then give it one more day. Tomorrow, decide again.
This is how intimacy grows and people become less distant.

A MUTUAL will to share TIME and life... regardless of the distance that separates you both.
Now , it has to be MUTUAL ...as in everything in life... specially when it comes to romantic relationships.

Isnt it about 3 days since you said you thought you were in love? Glow wore of rather quickly didnt it :)
