Well, I'm not sure I could give you the true definition, I'm not sure anyone can.....
What I can give you is my take on true love.
Where you/them wants to make life happier for their other. Will make sacrifices, even ones that are very difficult, in order to alleviate harm or unhappiness. They will be supportive in times of need, provide care in times of illness, think of when their other is tired/stressed/unhappy and put measures in place to make life better. Think of little treats to enhance their relationship, take time out to be considerate, courteous and, if necessary,be prepared to provide the sun, moon and stars for that person.
Even when difficult, see another perspective. Appreciate that they may have a different point of view and are entitled to it. Just want to be with that person and come home from a hard day at work to someone who makes them smile and who they want to make them smile back?
