Adorablekelvin: True love is unconditional, uncontrolable, its a committed love. You just feel it, the person just keep invading your thoughts always and you can't fight the feeling. The feeling is just real.
thumbs up well put. True love is when someone says "Ilove you" and it comes from the heart!

I've known men to say I love you to get what they want but true love will be shown in his unselfish actions towards you.

KremaP: The spell check on this site is automated so it is not a big deal if someone can or can not spell. She isn't a native speaker.

Doesn't matter, the spell check didn't work for her, and the Swedes know how to check.
True love, you will know it when you find it.

"What is popularly called falling in love is just such a transient psychosis....hence the phrases "love is blind" or "folie a deux."

"Romantic love, by which we mean that elan, that heightened ardor, that intense yearning for that Beloved, that frantic grappling, that profound sorrow when the Beloved is lost, that anxious uncertainty about the fixity of the Other-all this and more is both the greatest source of energy and the chief narcotic of our time. Given the erosion of the tribal myths which once helped connect our ancestors to the gods, to nature, to the tribe and to themselves, romantic love may prove to be the primary region of existential hunger in our century. One may even suggest that romantic love has replaced institutional religion as the greatest power and influences in our lives.

As no popular culture has built itself upon the idea of romance more than twentieth century America has, so none has founded itself on more shifting ground. A necessary corollary, then, it is that no culture has more set itself up for disappointment than the one which seeks its affirmation in projection, illusion and delusion."

Love is not an object and so , can not be defined by the logicalmind. It can only be felt by the heart chakra.the vibration of it

this is the reason why so many people don't find it. they try to define it. by figures,by numbers,by names.
