Plans For Memorial Week-End? (12)
jasmine64: I am so looking forward to being gone for a few days. Will leave on the 27th to go to son and daughter-in-laws which is only a 3 hour drive for me. We will then load up early on the morning of the 28th and head for the cabin near Colorado Springs, Co. Ahhh just thinking about the beauty, the walks along the lake, cooking out and of course taking many many pictures.

Well I made some very tasty cherry brandy and now Im planing on making or soaking some unripe walnuts in brandy and add some honey ,truss me, it will come out delicious ...

Its May 24 here in Canada. They call it that because everyone gets a case of beer (24) and goes camping. They get drunk and freeze their asses off. Its a kinda right of passage here in the Great White...Sadly Im working though.

Oh believe me riz I will never forget our Veterans. As I was married to one for 36 years and know so many they are with me in thought and prayers on a daily basis. Yes, the Memorial Day service will be attended. hugs to you
