Lassie, my parent told me no more dogs, went to pet shop and brought mum and dad a xmas present

Connected Scanner to Computer USB, Opened picture program, clicked on get picture from scanner, the program opened my scan software, selected destination folder, scanned image in color, in .jpg format, hit scan button.
Then cropped image in google picasa, instructed large image print and saved as

I use rather than photobucket, is pretty much same sort of site (is free to, but I paid for full service) and just like photobucket i pasted the IMG code into this thread

for photobucket i think you upload picture into an album, highlight image and select the IMG code to post in Forums

If you have a stand alone flatbed scanner, it has a lock underneath, make sure you unlock that before you scan

And one in the 60's. Though we were poor, we always had a decent camera. These were some of the first colour slides dad took. I still remember the "slide nights" we used to have - great fun.
I've scanned in hundreds of my parents' old photos and slides.

Love the pics applause

Will have to dig out my photo album. grin

Remember we one house we lived in as kids was across the road from a creek. Me and my brother had a mud fight one afternoon and got covered from head to toe in black mud. rolling on the floor laughing

Got the biggest hiding when we got home but was worth it.

It was a country primary school and teacher was a real old softy. My dog followed me to school one day and when this happened he would let us keep them under our desk for the day. Until one day there was the biggest dog fight in the classroom rolling on the floor laughing

We kids thought it was so exciting. applause

Wasn't aloud to keep your dog in the room after that sad flower

Another not so nice memory was when a year 5 kid was given six cuts in front of the year 3 class. poor kids screamed and we was shocked. wow

They wouldn't get away with stuff like that these days. very mad

i remember when i was about 8 or 9, they had a buiding site up the road from where we lived,, i would go up there after school and make myself a shop with the old bricks there and sell the bricks as bread to my imaginary shoppers, always wondered what the builders thought when they kept going back to work the day after and seeing all these bricks in a big circlelaugh funny though, i bought my real shop a small bakery back in england when i was 24.cheering

also my money making idea when i was about 6 was charging all the local kids 10 pence to watch me doing horse jumping in the back garden, i would put sticks all over the garden and pretend i was on a real horse and jump the sticksrolling on the floor laughing it paid for my icecreams when the van came rounddancing
