I've just have one mailer told me that I looked like I haven't had exercise in 2 months! Well he was right. Anyway, I always want people around to be honest, blunt or otherwise. It's always better than pondering.

So would you be honest and tell your partner he has gained?
I want to be honest but I also don't want to hurt him and make him feel poorly about himself. At the same time, I must remain true to myself because I may soon find out I am no longer interested. I don't mean to be shallow but....
lalasierra: When your partner gains weight and it has gotten to the point where you are starting to get turned off by it, do you mention it to him/her?
Yes and long before it gets to that point.

Would you want your partner to bring it to your attention that you've gained weight and it has become unattractive to him? Could you handle the truth?
I'd like to be told beforehand. And when I did gain weight I was told in no uncertain terms.

oh I think I knew myself when I put on weight, it didn't need to be pointed out to me. A man that cares will make activity time more interesting that was always the fun part.
