pedro27: well my repentance was my suffering, i paid for my sins. imo no one understands the bible ''fully''jmo

Then why bother with it? Throw it out and don't worry about it. You are your own Saviour. You (a sinner) earned your own salvation. Who needs a righteous man like Christ to intervene and save us when we can do it ourselves doh

Glatlol: Just another way out for people to behave badly and not feel guilty about it.

Deny their guilt and continue sinning,,,

pedro27: i went to confession a few times,in the roman catholic church it does work if you truely repent, and say your sorry for your sins committed.

Whatever floats your boat. Catholicism is as plausible or implausible as anything that any spiritualist believes. And I suppose I'd trust the Priest's agenda of saving my eternal soul over the ego of spiritualism derived entirely from self.

Dadude62: I really don't believe that God created you with that condition as some kind of punishment. People with those kind of conditions do not need to be stigmatized. I don't think that God made a mistake in creating you.
I don't know what God's purpose is in creating those conditions, but I do know that adversity and pain is the tough stone of real spiritual growth, having gone thru my own personal Hell. I look at my own experiences, depression, as a gift. They gave me the spiritual understanding I have now.

i have to say your posts do seem spiritual, as in you look at this stuff in a interesting view and way

pedro27: i had guilt and i went to confession, i made the confession told him my sins 10 year ago, and now i feel great i feel god forgave me, the sins where not major looking back

I feel good knowing a God never condemned me at all. That he created me as human both good and bad. I feel bad about the wrongs i committed and commit and try to right them. I do as much as I humanly can, and don't condemn myself for being human, not perfect.
I get a sense that your condition was spiritual in nature.

I think it is terribly sad that someone feels they have to confess to a fictional character in order to feel better about themselves.

What if someone did commit a major sin, do they just have to confess and all is forgiven?

All of reality is spiritual to me. In all my posts substitute the word "God" with the word "reality" and you will understand what I think.

That's what the witchdoctors would have you believe under the threat of eternal condemnation and unspeakable torture. Pump that crap into people from birth for the last few thousand years. Just give them all your personal power and you are good to go and do as you please.
It is no wonder that the end results are real mental struggles,,,

so it sad to you!!

mortal sins are harder to forgive than others would you agree? ak your dauther does something very wrong and lands up in jail for life, would you simply AND easyly forgive, knowing the mortal sin she done? with suffering yourself because of her wrong mortal SIN?
