busymom10: So what is it with men when they say they are interested and would love to spend more time together, they text or call every night then suddenly nothing. Not even a courtesy sorry busy or anything. Is it too hard to be honest instead of giving women the cold treatment, geeshhh!
Both men and women do this. I wonder if it's just being selfish and thoughtless or do they have something to hide? Or are they playing games with you or did they find someone else? Who knows? You're probably better off without this person anyway!

as a rule my expereince with men is that they tend to be dishonest if they can get away with it - particularly towards women. I have seen men with reps for being completely honest behave very questionably towards women.
it doesn't mean all men are like that but that has been my majority expereince and I mean in all ways...from love, to relationships, business deals, to gaming & sports. I think part of it comes from an inherent instinct they have that makes it very difficult for them to be trumped or out done by a woman. so they will go to extra lengths to be dishonest, unethically competitve, or lie when a woman is involved because they can't stand the thought of being "beaten by a girl" where in a similar situation with a man they will "man up" like gents and take a loss no problem.
sorry no offense meant but I have spent way too much time in male company to be wrong on this. tho not all men are going to be this way, enough have been in my direct knowledge to cause me to be mistrustful till they prove otherwise....oh well
I guess for me, if it is a "he" - he's guilty till proven innocent...sorry 'bout that....but experience speaks louder than unfulfilled promises...lol

Yes, I agree. I wish everyone had the same attitude.

Would she feel real lousy about making such an outright derogatory generalization because of one persons actions (or inactions) if she later found out he had been in a serious accident and was unable to phone? Has she tried to call or text him, rather than jumping to assumptions?
