What is the deal with some of these women on here? Is it a power trip to just go forever and never wanting to talk on phone. It is sometimes funny[and sad]; You can IM a woman for a while and not say one thing out of line. Then when you mention phone call they drop you like a hot potato. confused

Maybe a scammer or she prefers the penpal route to get to know you better. dunno Speaking for myself, I prefer to get to know someone through email until I feel comfortable enough to talk on the phone with them. wine

For the most part, I avoid calling fiends that live too far away from me. Phone calls just drive the emotions deeper and that's such a pain when I can't be with them. blues

I don't think it is cool to string people along. If after a few days to a week of clean emailing , I either go to the phone or I block. Men of my caliber do not play games with these losers....:)

There is something very personal about the "phone call"..........I prefer to try and get to know someone as best as possible through the exchange of emails before taking the skype or phone calls step.

Here's me, how I think on this...some people's idea of awhile is 2 days or so...I personally won't give out my email much less my phone number until I feel completely safe in doing so...it's going to take awhile for me to do that ( 1 week to 1 mth ) if after that time I don't feel secure in doing so then it's probably bye-bye wave
