Between 66% and 90% of divorces are instigated by women. Women my age instigate divorce at nearly 10x the rate of men, the inbetween percentile is where "no-fault" divorce exists, and "mature" women only instigate divorce at twice the rate of men.
I'm not sure how this manifests in less serious relationships. As the problem of men is getting them to settle down properly in the first place, and the problem of a woman is getting her to make an enduring commitment. I suspect that men dump women more often in short relationships.
