Well....that's a bit rich.....guess the Aussies / Yanks/ Brits / Canadians etc probably been asking that same question re the 'young unfortunate Irish' for the past few years ??
Aren't all SA citizens 'rainbow' people? And 'native' is so insulting as well as so un PC
Seems as if the assimilation won't be too difficult....violence / corruption /scandals /political sham poverty/ poverty / citizens being screwed,etc....as in Irish society today....might take longer with the weather though
And on the conterary most emigrants (all colours) will probably return....at the right time ....richer in all respects.

I have absolutely no idea, lol. It could have been any country, people always like to think they know more than they do. There are a couple of SA people on the threads, maybe that's why we got picked!
snowlynx: It's always interesting to get an 'outsiders' view of your own country, I hope you won't be put off by anyone from giving us your view on Ireland and Irish society. Same goes for unlaoised.
Thank you, snowlynx, that's very nice of you...and quite different to the usual posts on here. Really, much appreciated. I'd be extremely hesitant to offer any opinions on here, though. The nastiness is very difficult to get past.
