- How clean you Americans are?
Number of visits to office-based physicians for infectious and parasitic diseases: 23.6 million as for 2010.

IF they come here ILLEGALLY they are NOT immigrants. My Grand Parents immigrated here from Italy, in the early 1900's. Immigrants have the paper work to be here.. illegals DONT!

jac they are here illegally and arrogantly so - not immigrants but illegal aliens, and with expectations that it is our responsibility to give them hand outs. that is bad enough, on top of that they are bringing diseases here that the US has not seen in a century. most of the "common folk" here resent it and want our gov't to ship them back (which they will be doing as they can but it takes time)
it;s a touchy issue here. these illegal are expecting free services that our own Veterans can't get much less our regular citizens. nothing about what these illegals are doing is OK. prolly where the tone came from that you noted, and respectfully it is OUR problem so what others outside the US think isn't anything we are concerned about

Americans have nothing against people who come here legally. Yes, there have been articles in the news about the illegals bringing pestilence here that we haven't seen in a century. unfortunately that has been seen in the detention areas. as far as I can tell they are well treated here but something is totally out of whack when a FELON form another country can see a Dr, in less time than an average citizen.- How clean you Americans are?

Illegal immigration is wrong period.
However, here we are discussing the disease hazard of immigrants –illegal- in this case.

what I am saying is that it does not matter if this is an international forum we STILL do not care what those outside the US think. Mexico fired SHOT from a helicopter at our border patrol and illegals are spending our money that is OURS faster than we can print. We will deal with this as we wish. those on an international forum can say what they wish but it will not influence us here. that's all I am saying. I am not saying jac can't have an opinion. of course she can.

Don't forget that Mexico is holding a US Marine! Odd that Mexico doesn't give a damn about its OWN people, yet they have tighter border control on their southern borders. If I had my way, We would have armed border guards with a Shoot to kill order. USA is our home, and illegals are breaking into it. Nuff said!

there is no "winning " as it doesn't really matter what anyone outside the US thinks.
the illegals are NOT immigrants. they are according to our law - designated illegal aliens. One has to enter legally to be an immigrant.
I think lifesadream also agrees that going by this illegally is wrong. Friends of mine who are LEGAL immigrants here are even more upset about it than many legal citizens...lol

that is not a disease anyone in the US gets. it is seen some of the illegals though. so there is a concern about them being released into the mainstream population. so that is going to stop. now the plan is to detain them and send them back to central america. we are also providing an unprecedented amount of financial aid to central america to repatriate it's citizens.
