The thread is about diseases. Developed countries try to prevent this, and the rest don't do it always.

I could agree that the immigration policy works wrongly, but there must be measures against epidemics and diseases which doesn't exist in the destination countries.

If you don't like them then I am not going to try and please you. I see certain subjects in more than a few of us get us on the defensive very quickly. "patriotism" is one. If you feel that your good name is tarnished you come running. Well, same here. And while you were visiting the USA you always knew you would leave. yes? so it is not as though you know what it is to live here. Not as a person that is of this nation. no, you are of another and very proud of it. Well, so are many of us. We just had Independence day while you were arguing us down. Kinda crazy timing. But that does not matter to you because what matters to us each respectively is not the same. Yet people have tried to show you their way of seeing things. They just do not realize you will not. Anyway, as usual I grate on your nerves. Though not intentionally....it is just that way in this time. As time goes forward there will be bigger changes to be seen. That is for sure. And both countries will not and can not remain as they are indefinitely.

Dragos1: You aim to offend most certainly. I can see that. The Statue of Liberty said nothing about send me your drugs and break our laws while you exploit the rest of the people that had to go through the proper channels. You use the word "Immigrant" where the actual entity that is in scrutiny are "Illegal Aliens". And just because you have a discusion or exchange of words with another member from Oregon does not mean it is up to me to continue it. All us "Oregonians" are not the same you know.

raphael119: The conservative plan since Reagan has been to talk tough against immigration and sabotage any serious enforcement efforts. The U.S. has benefited tremendously from dirt cheap labor in almost all low skill, dirty, dangerously jobs we require in the U.S.

A gullible lower middle class constituency, and the great increase in wealth of the 1% has been central to their success.
