felixis99: laugh now....wait till they come up your way. It does not really affect me as I do not live in or near a border state. I am nearer Canada actually.

there is no "winning " as it doesn't really matter what anyone outside the US thinks.

the illegals are NOT immigrants. they are according to our law - designated illegal aliens. One has to enter legally to be an immigrant.

I think lifesadream also agrees that going by this illegally is wrong. Friends of mine who are LEGAL immigrants here are even more upset about it than many legal citizens...lol

the mexican gov't already apologized for the shooting.
The joke, let me know who wins was in reference to the civil war book that Life was reading. As it has already happened.sad flower

felixis99: that is not a disease anyone in the US gets. it is seen some of the illegals though. so there is a concern about them being released into the mainstream population. so that is going to stop. now the plan is to detain them and send them back to central america. we are also providing an unprecedented amount of financial aid to central america to repatriate it's citizens.

Dengue fever (UK /'d??ge?/ or US /'d??gi?/), also known as breakbone fever, is a mosquito-borne tropical disease caused by the dengue virus. Symptoms include fever, headache, muscle and joint pains, and a characteristic skin rash that is similar to measles.
The number of cases of dengue fever has increased dramatically since the 1960s, with between 50 and 528 million people infected yearly. Early descriptions of the condition date from 1779, and its viral cause and the transmission were figured out in the early 20th century. Dengue has become a global problem since the Second World War and is endemic in more than 110 countries. Apart from eliminating the mosquitoes, work is ongoing on a vaccine, as well as medication targeted directly at the virus.

Wiki

Maybe the original article should be discussing mosquitos and how to reduce their numbers rather than helpless people!!

Hi Sunshine!

You got some extremist Muslims there and other extremists as well (do you wonder why?) anyone smart enough would want to trade them for those unfit Mexicans. Which btw, Mexicans are only the 56 % of the illegal immigrants entering USA.

Risk of infectious diseases.

The millions of American people that travel abroad:

Can they get some diseases?
or is it only illegal immigrants that bring them to USA?

Stringman, OregonGold and Felixis:

Would you define the entering of illegal people –into your country as a threat to your health?

Then would you define the entering of American troops to some countries - "legal" and illegally- as a threat as well not only to their health of the that country’s people but to their lives as well?.

None of them is right but you are seeing the straw in others eyes and you can not see the log in yours.

Have you ever wonder why? These people migrate?
Especially, the illegal ones.

Because they are in need.
They need to feed their families and themselves.

Have you ever met any illegal immigrant?
Do you really know how they live in the States?

Felixis I believe your expertise area is administration:
There is a cost to illegal immigration yes but a question to you:
is there any benefit from it that you can see?

OregonGold I do not know you and I am glad you grandparents were safe and made it to USA. Lei parla l’italiano?
On the topic:
Do you think that the American government, its military budget, the intelligence agencies, the technology.....can not stop illegal immigration?
And stop the spreading of the immigrant’s diseases?

Give them some credit.

Stringman I do believe you do portray yourself as a religious man:
Where is your compassion to these people in need?

Hi lifeisadream,It's obvious that this wasn't meant for me but I feel that immigrants come to the USA in the hopes of making a better life then they actually had within their own country.

They do CC because our government has not being able to stimulate the economy to keep people working and making a decent living.

Had they had a job opportunity here they would not want to migrate.

The last 2 years and this one have been really terrible, many small businesses are closed and more and more people have not jobs and no ways to sustain themselves.

The ones that migrate to USA are looking for a better life, yes. However, they are poor here and they will be poor there and 2nd. class citizens, unless they go to school or get trained in some useful skills.

If I have time later on I will tell some stories about illegal immigrants (from people that I know close).

Have a great day!

felixis99: what I am saying is that it does not matter if this is an international forum we STILL do not care what those outside the US think. Mexico fired SHOT from a helicopter at our border patrol and illegals are spending our money that is OURS faster than we can print. We will deal with this as we wish. those on an international forum can say what they wish but it will not influence us here. that's all I am saying. I am not saying jac can't have an opinion. of course she can.

the disease I read about was dengue fever and leprosy. and we seriously have not had that here in the continental US. they are bringing it here. but to me the larger problem is that they disrespect us and they are felons....illegal. our president has asked them to stop coming. but since they are disresepectful I doubt they will listen.

I guess I also feel that it is really not your concern either. US legal citizens are the only opinions that really matter. (tho of course anyone has a right to an opinion)

It's not that they're disrespectful, more like desperate. Perhaps if we lived off our own labours in the West the world wouldn't be such a grim place and not so many would try to come here(and yes I know this argument is gay, but gay or not, it's the truth).

If you want to dislike a group then look to the PC warriors of our late-stage and senile lands; they are your true ingrates and spergs who don't value our culture or appreciate what we have(had?). They are the moralising misfits who want to tear down and shroud the nation in chaos so they can hide their worthless and pathetic lives in darkness. Don't hate the immigrants, legal or otherwise, hate the degenerate enabling freaks who bring them here.

Whatever be the westeners opinion on immigration and the government's ways to face it, there's no doubt that illegal entries don't allow to control diseases. They even avoid hospitals, afraid of being deported.

Recently there was a ebola case in an spanish hospital and that caused some nervousness on uncertainty over a possible epidemic.

I think the concern is the spread of diseases .I do feel compassion for these people but there are laws and rules to follow. what if one person got through with a highly contagious disease and it spread like wild fire. you where the one who came in contact with them or anyone for that matter.

It has been a frantic day;
Daily 1 hour swimming very happy
Going upstairs and downstairs the equivalent to 28 floors flex
2 hr at the hospital taking care of my friends’ daughter and she is demanding, although in a good way.

In the same hospital I met a friend whose Mother (95 yo) is going to have a pacemaker placed and there was a shortage of a medicine that her Mother needed so my friend had to go out and buy it and she asked me to watch her Mom and her hearth beating in a machine and make sure it did not go below 40 if it did push the emergency gadget, there was a moment that the machine read 41, 40 uh oh and then 42 and up.

I am tired I could not even fight with MadDog now but who knows tomorrow.laugh

Good night to all!

What I know about Taco Bell is from a grad-class that I took about marketing and Taco Bell (an American Co) was an example of re-engineering, which has placed them in a good position with great profits.

I do not fully understand your comment Galrads.
Either you are nuts or my English is terrible.
Or
I am nuts and your English is terrible.

Or maybe both!

And you could use a shower, according to the picture you have.
