I can't say i have well certainly not those that realistically are close enough !!!
But stil i see many people talk of romantic interests, and their view of it yet on the other hand, their demeanor does not always show they really know what it means.............
Romance is a special thing that takes time to develop and appreciate between two people ....its the whole package, and certainly the right person i would grace with that
:) Yes, definitely. However. Few meetings or so it's still not saying it will turn into a couple having 7 kids and so on. But who knows? ;) (7, did I say 7 this time??? I should have said 1 more or… ;) )
I believe that each of the few guys I write with could turn to be very interesting in reality, which I would love to meet at least more than once. I mean even from writing I can say that. Meeting would not necessary mean dating as chemistry is something one can not really predict. And being interesting and chemistry is also not enough as the real live can bring surprises one is not expecting to face. But :(. I can not meet everyone, less date.

It seems to be a question of Location, Location, Location .... if you are not fairly near to each other, or willing and able to travel often - then it just ain't gonna work...
but you have to be open to make an effort as in other aspects of your life, and according to statistics for the over 50's there are 5 women to every man, over 60 there are 10 woman to every man so you guys have the advantage of numbers !
nomindgames: Curious, has anyone met and then dated a few times, or commit to each other from here, or any dating site? Seems like most of us don't meet many or any at all. Sometimes we may be to choosey, so our own fault. For whatever the reason, how about you?
For me i think am scared because of the way people complain about internet scam and i also noticed that distance affects most of us here from meeting up with a loved one here. Nevertheless it's always a good thing you experience something and then it allows you to adjust, so it's fun being here but don't mind waiting...

You can spot a scammer in practically the first line of their email, they are sooooo obvious!
Therefore, I really don't know how anybody gets scammed or taken in.

Sometimes they copy a couple of messages from other "normal" people, so it isn't apparent they are fakers until the 3rd email when their grammar suddenly goes to pot, and other giveaway signs in the language used make it more obvious they are not who they profess to be..
Happy Christmas and best wishes for 2015 to all, except you scammers of course....they can go and get a proper job.

Hi, I have met about half dozen or so over the past year, they all seemed very nice, but, I found " too needy". I am a normal older man, good humour, funny, smart, if I can brag. lol. However, it seems that regardless what her b/g is, they all seem to want, MARRIAGE. Nothing wrong with this, but at least, say it up front, let the man say ok with it or not.Ok but in any case, good luck with the site.
