What Do You Have To Offer Someone? ( Archived) (97)

There have been lots of threads by people stating what they want in a partner. We all have our expectations and our wants in a person but the question is, what do we have to offer in return?

Its pointless for someone like me to state X number of demands because quite frankly, the only thing I can offer is love and affection. I can't offer money, big houses, big careers, and so on.

What do you have to offer someone?

Ooohhhh! You'd love it!! So far zero complaints wink

I'll start shampooing the hair, give the head a good tender massage. Next, soothing facial massage followed by body scrubbing, especially the back! I'll go in between the fingers and toes too! In fact, everywhere!! giggle giggle giggle

What I'm gonna do next is way too explicit to be written here....... batting batting batting

P.S They always come back for more! wine

Good question.

If I were looking, I'd want someone who is in the same boat as I am. (Meaning no obligations on any front: financial, family, etc.). I would not ask for more than what I bring to the table.

Good girl.

The only thing I would be able to offer is love, I don't have anything else lol

Ideally, you shouldn't have to offer more than that.

A guy friend of mine was unemployed for a while and during that time, he was really self-conscious about going on dates because he just didn't have the funds to pay for a date and he was convinced that women wouldn't want to go out with him. I said that women who are genuinely interested will look at his credentials and understand that he'll find employment soon (which he did)... but it turned out that he was right and I was wrong. Go figure dunno

I been dealing with depression for years, and I never been able to keep down a job thus I haven't worked in some time. Believe me, people RUN when I tell them that.

I have give up on finding someone. I come here mostly for the social aspect but with no intentions.

Yes, my friend was also depressed during that time and on meds. I totally believe you when you say that women run when you tell them that. You are really in a tough spot in terms of dating. Well, we're definitely here to interact with you :-)

I been on meds for years and will probably be for the rest of my life. Depression runs in my family along with other ailments. When I was a child, I was hyper active with severe A.D.D. Though I was never diagnosed, my family believes I had a case of autism (or possibly aspergers). Elements of that is still present in me to this day.

In some ways, I am the biggest loser here on this site. The only thing that separates me is that I will admit to it. I would rather people know me for what I really am instead of weaving a web of lies that I would just end up getting caught in. I believe its better to have 1 friend who knows me for what I am instead of 10 friends who thinks I am someone else.
