The Airbus A320 family has a real good safety record, As of last month, over 6,300 of them have been built, with less than 70 accidents since the first one flew in February 1987. That comes out to just about one percent of them being lost. Please note that I only counted the A320, which is what this latest plane was. Besides, the vast majority of accidents are caused by human error, so there is nothing to be really paranoid about.

It just happens that way...the pilot requested another heading to avoid the storm...maybe they got into more trouble doing that. I think the original poster here also said something about the Bermuda Triangle...I haven't heard of any disappearances there for quite a few years. That might be a good use for a drone...send live video and pictures...then with GPS, if it goes down someone would know where to look.
Too many late model planes crashing , doubt if a 747 would handle a missile . But I am damn sure its because new planes are built to a cost rather than a standard . There is a difference between mil spec and something built for civilian use . The original 747 was mil spec . Built to take a hiding . The b52 will be 90 years old when retired and how many flying hours is anyone's guess , I doubt if these die by wire plastic crates will be airborne by the time the B52's are parked up .
a plane eating monster? The Asians just did a reconstruction of the old incident? It is a mafia advertising war between airline companies?
Next time before lift-off and the pilots tells you to switch off your cellphones, you know you are getting kidnapped and burned and drowned and fall from miles high and asphyxiated and maybe landing on a comet in outer space

unlaoised: I was going there in February.
I won't be now
Whit all those tragic accidents who would feel safe to take a plane in that region from any airline. Too bad because, those airlines are going to be hit by a very difficult time in their business.

It's a pausible explanation, and also is explained the case of the Malaysian flight shot down in Ukraine.
The plane that disappeared months ago truly it's a mistery.
The one that fell down from Brazil to France took over
a year to find the plane, went down cause bad weather
