Friskyone: How much does CS impact your off-line life? Have you been late to work because you were reading/posting before work or stayed up too late on CS and over-slept? Do you log on while you're at work just to take a peek? Do you discuss CS with your off-line friends? Personally, I just randomly log-in. If I can't sleep, It's ok because I check-in.
I find myself more on the Internet now than ever before. I make a point to concentrate on work at work. After work, between cooking, feeding the animals, doing the laundry, stacking the dishwasher, generally picking up after the kids, and playing with my cats, I find a lot of time for CS. It is very entertaining and relaxing. I talk more on the Internet than in person, which suits me fine, as I am not the most talkative person. U have a place to air all ur ideas and possibilities, open to the whole world. FUN !!!
Happygolucky4u: In the ways you have mentioned it has not impacted my life at all. But as an observer in life that is always thirsty for knowledge it has broaden my mind. If I see something I have not heard of I look it up. It also has taught me more about human interaction.
Yeah, it's certainly allowed me to take a journey of personal development.
I think of myself as a work in progress. I heard years ago when you stop wanting to learn new things then it is pretty well over for you. So....I am trying to prolong my final journey

I tend to spend too much time on here at times and then not log in at all for days. Was nearly too late to get hardboard from the hardware store today because I was on here but don't think I need to worry about CS ever taking over my life.

CS has not affected my life to any great extent, apart from all the 23 year females whose deceased father was a general/politician/businessman in west Africa and left her $20 million that she wants to transfer out of the country via my bank account.
I enjoy the forums although I don't comment very often.
CS did introduce me to a long distance friend who grew up in my old stamping grounds.
