I missed meeting 2 of the Indonesian girls because we weren't in the same area when they were over.
Met some interesting posters on meets and might have a coffee with some travelling through the area.

This is like many singles sites where people acquire cliques or circles of acquaintances instead of dates or romantic love or even real friends. Their cliques will never date them or be there for them in person, but they use the familiar faces as a substitute for the real thing.

my CS experience...
dated a member, even flew to another country after months of skyping. chemistry wasn't there. nice fella and we've both met partners here now, just not with each other.
i met my partner here. long distance is tough..and needs a deep level of commitment to the Us to be successful over the long haul. not recommended for the insecure or faint of heart as life can toss in some curve balls...
as well...
i met Buddy and we became close friends, helping each other many times. i had a stroke (and although my abilities to walk and talk returned within 24 hours, there were some things that took much longer). Buddy spent months helping me to learn to type again through the IM on CS. years later, Buddy sadly passed away.
i will always love Buddy.
Buddy showed me how to begin to open my heart again, and when i think of him, my heart opens with gratitude for the amazing gift he was. he is in my heart forever.
i also have had the pleasure of meeting a few CS members in real life now. each exactly like they are on here. i really enjoyed spending time with each of them and look forward to getting together again.
one of them drove thousands of miles to help me with something in real life.
and i have made some close e-friends. haven't met them yet, but hope to. infact, one of them is one of my closest confidants. (thankyou, and i know you know who you are...
)
while still others inspire me with their posts. there are several members whose posts have helped me to be more open and expand. and countless hours of laughter and distraction during some difficult times.
and yes...there are some i'd like to slap up side the head.. but that's life...yanno...

That looks like more of a trouble to me. But you never know, some are just passing time and scamming, that is a different thing.
I express very strongly that I am not looking and so I blocked almost the whole world.
Then there is no headache. Don't bother chatting or communicating other than some selected real friends.
But having said that I hope you will meet someone that sweeps your feet away. Just saying.

Yes, sometimes it can cause your heart to just get torn apart and there are times when it gives you a high blood, and like you said, slap them upside the head....and that is the dynamic of our relationship here,,,but for me, yes, we have ups and downs but can get very interesting and fascinating.
