At my age, I wouldn't..why give up something you enjoy..plus the fact that I havnt needed to see a doctor in 20 years..still fit and healthy (too much refined sugar is worse than smoking) IMO
Hold on. If you abstained fro so many weeks, why start now???? Hold Onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
Dragos1: So here I am in July and still not smoking. I am very glad I stopped before my surgery and I really think it made a difference in my recovery. I am 9 weeks since they had me cut open and have at least another 4 weeks before I can do some of the things that we take for granted like pushing a lawn mower or even digging post holes for a fence. But up until yesterday I had not had a real urge to Light Up but yesterday after a conflict with my sister about our Mother's headstone I could really feel the craving to light up! I did not do it but it is interesting how Strong that urge can be.

I said I had a string "urge" Chris, I didn't say I went lit up. That was kinda the point in that I didn't. Or maybe you are being kinda "funny" can't really tell.
