Lolette: tom,, simple curiosity,, how does we consider eggs,, meat or vegetables,, this is serious question, just pop out of this still learning head,,

Neither, eggs are considered dairy products.

They are and animal product, but vegetarian.

Vegetarian is a loose term Ms. Jac conversing

I consider myself ovo-lacto as I consume eggs and dairy products.

I liked myself better when I did not consume eggs blues

jac,, thanks for the info,, not so into nutritional side, & to add,, i've heard brits consume eggs almost everyday for their breakfast,,explains why nobody got cholesterol excess as what some nutritionists suggests to cosume eggs only 3 times a week as they are rich in protein specially the yolks.

Eggs for breakfast is traditional in Britain, but I doubt many people have them every day, anymore.

They are a cheap source of protein however, and as food has become very expensive over here I expect their popularity will have increased again.

They are high in cholesterol, especially the yolks, but it probably depends on the rest of one's diet and exercise regime as well. I eat a lot of eggs because they are one of the few things I can eat, but the last time I had a health check including my cholesteral levels, my doctor growled at me with jealousy because I'm so healthy. laugh
