serene56: Just viewed your profile .. describing yourself as playful and looking for friends aged 36+ may be misconstrued by some lol

I'll meet someone younger, who has his own kid already. But if he has no kids, and/or wants more, it isn't going to happen. Period. However, if he has no kids, and does NOT care to have any.......we can talk heart beating

PrettyPrescious: Their profile will clearly state that they WANT KIDS. I'm 54 years old! They say my age isn't an issue, and they want to get to know me better. I point out that it isn't a match, because they want kids. They insist that is not important to them.......Really??? Seriously? They clearly state in their profile that they want kids, yet want to start something up with a 50-s woman, who is supposed to fall for the guy hook line and sinker, but I know better than to get emotionally invested with a man who would want kids!! Am I over-reacting? I would not be interested in a fling. I want something permanent!

That's true,, sometimes the contradictories are so blatant, how to interpret such acts? for me i can say they just do it without any further interest,, we might just be part of their past time ,, otherwise how could we consider it as a serious affair,,,

That's exactly the way I see it. They think they can fool me for a period of time, and then "mess up" so I'll get rid of them after I'm used up, so that they can meet someone to have kids with later, after they've had their fun. Not. Gonna. Happen. Not with me it isn't

Pretty ,, yes,, having kids might be included in the long term plan, or i can say we can have kids by adoption. I have seen/tv, in Italy a grandma over 60's had her kid thru artificial medical manipulations,, she was well followed by the medical staff who performed it & it was a sucess, though not to be taken lightly,,,

kandacyhope: No ma'am you are not over-reacting at all, you are totally right, its a pity ladies your age wont take that kind of stand, you know what u want and you are not settling.

Thank you. I try to point it out to these guys why it won't work, but these fools, er, dudes want to insist that "kids don't matter", only love does. I think they are confusing "love" with "love making". Big difference rolling on the floor laughing

I'm telling you, alot of these men are in their 40s and 50s. I was telling a counselor I was seeing about this once, and she was NOT surprised. She said people are waiting longer to have kids....This is a problem I've run into over and over again
