The only time a woman has to give her age is on government forms, and not too far off her age on dating sites. Actually they should have an option of 30-35, 35-40 etc. Anyway, it's up to the woman and most will put down near enough to real so it's no big deal most of the time. But don't ask her, that's rude! Let her tell you if she wants to herself.

If you're really looking for someone on a dating site, then yeah, best to be as close as possible (ish! lol) to the truth if you're gonna meet up with them.
