An absolute tragedy and I extend my sincere condolences to the innocent victims in Paris.

This terrorist attack must be remembered as such, an attack by terrorists, and not used by narrow minded people to facilitate their hatred of refugees and immigrants from the war torn areas, these terrorists have wreaked havoc in.

Good decent people from the Muslim East and Christian West must stand together against terrorism, do not allow them to divide us. sad flower

stanley8m: I concur, these terrorists need to be eradicated by whatever means necessary.

Oh and for anyone blaming refugees for the Paris atrocities, take stock and realize that these are the terrorists the innocent refugees are trying to escape from.

No wonder those poor terrorized innocent refugees, are risking their lives to escape from these dreadful brainwashed fanatics.

The perpetrators of these attacks are most likely french nationals themselves not isis..whats to say muslims in Ireland dont become radicalised and start bombing and shooting on the streets of dublin..could very easily happen..the thing about muslims is they have no interest in integration when they come to another country..you see this in france..They want their own way and they dont care who they murder in the process..multi cultural societies do no workireland

I don't mean to be negative, but it could only be the start of it!

It's been going on for a while over the world, its just that's its closer to home now thus people are noticing it. When our own safety or the safety of our loved ones becomes potentially at risk we sit up and take notice.
Living in N.I. and knowing what it feels like to feel unsafe as a child and wondering why the world is just sitting back watching, certainly enables one to to empathise. sad flower

suicide bombings are frightening if you think about it..if a person is willing to blow themselves up they must have some strong beliefs..That take some serious bravery..not in any way glorifying it but I see the merits of it in a skewed wayireland

What you say is quite right, people must not turn on their hatred of immigrants and refugees, and see them as the enemy,as a result of these attacks, they must resist the urge to categorize, as it was that very impulse, that fueled the insanity and violence, perpetrated in Paris.

Exactly, the terrorists are representative of the Islamic community in the same way that a rabid rottweiler is representative of a pet Jack Russell.

Mick Wallace and Clare Daly both in trouble for tweeting that militarisation is the cause of what happened in Paris. Fair enough point in itself but their timing is atrocious, now is the time for sympathy, debate can come later.
