lifeisadream: Why do you live there?

Because it is my home,...where I was born. and will likely die. It is a beautiful, diverse, multi-cultural society of tolerance, acceptance, and a love of life and what it has to offer,...but DANG,...it sure can get cold! LOL! (Good for snuggling!)

I do like many places, I am here because of my family and friends too yet I do love the climate of the place where I live. This year we have had lots of rain, so it has been perfect!

I will check the video later, thanks.

allthegoodnamest: The more I look into the terror attacks, the more I see a trend of jihadists , mainly from France & Belgium of , Moroccan & Algerian decent, who are disgruntled at the treatment & lack of opportunities given to them by their adopted countries. Young men who are not particularly intelligent or religious , often turning to crime & have been influenced by radicalism .
The British Muslim , however, is a more peaceful breed of Muslim , mainly Pakistanis , who are no threat to our security while still controlled by their faith.. Nevertheless, the problems will come when they will eventually abandon their faith , like we are witnessing in the west & that's when all hell will break loose.

Anyone who is unsuccessful can be disgruntled, why is it only the Muslims?

Interesting that you say there are no problems in the UK - what about the Rotherham grooming case - mostly men of Pakistani origin or am I wrong?

and those in need are men of combat age that make up 75% of all the migrants?

JoyCrest: By the way, why should some US cities be eager to welcome Muslim migrants just because of economic incentives that could come with the influx of refugees? According to an Economist magazine some cities are openly courting migrants, and Syracuse would convert a Catholic church to be a mosque. Are you not afraid that in the long term, they will be breeding and training jihadists and terrorists, suicide bombers or they would be happy to convert the US as an Islamic USA.... that's one of their wishes in Europe now, not just chaos and destruction!

Hello Joycrest. Yes some in the US are concerned. Honestly though, such activity would be difficult to conceal for very long here. Immigrations from some countries need to be temporarily curbed or stopped. But I do not agree that people of any religion or ethnic background, who have no criminal record, should have to carry any sort of identity card not required by ALL in the US.

It's imperative that freedom of worship continue here.

When on earth has "freedom of worship/religion" become human right no.1? Incredible.

Hello, Mr. Bodleing2, thanks for your interesting quotes of the Bible....yes of course but at least these barbaric practices are not being used in the civilized Christian world and there is the universal Golden Rule, Don't do unto others, what you wouldn't like others to do to unto you. Remember that Islam uses the word war 79 times... it's a cult, a faith or a religion of violence. Perhaps Obama is a Muslim, but he does not like war & he may not want to have 4 wives.sad flower

Thanks Felixis, it's imperative that freedom of worship continue. I know, there are even Satanic Churches in the States, they are free. At least they don't have suicide bombers or terrorists, and they don't eliminate unbelievers or infidels

I prefer the more positive quote..."Do unto others as you would have them do to you."

Personally I like to try and follow Buddhist teachings. Dharma teaches compassion for all living beings, although I really can't resist the occasional bacon sarnie...grin

what a silly question! Women and children and the old should be helped. These young men should go back and fight for their country to get back on track. Or do you think we should do that instead of them?

I have said this before, not one but several armies from different "economic developed countries" have not being able to stop the problem in Syria and you want normal citizens to go and fight a war that has being escalated to nonsense?

Make the invading countries' military to leave Syrian and then and only then they should go back to their home and do whatever they want: to fight or reach an agreement to stop the fighting.

Sorry Loulou, there is no fear mongering when you speak of facts. It's true, we are still living in a peaceful world, we live in the spirit of love and goodwill, we have good faith... but the ideology of Islam is unacceptable for a freedom loving country. We have the policy of live and let live, but the jihadist philosophy is kill and get killed. The majority of the refugees are young men according to UN statistics... and Saudi will give money for the mosques to the countries who will accept them. They discovered a mosque in Paris which was a training ground for terrorists. France has the biggest population of Muslims followed by Germany, but now, there is threat in Belgium... Maybe it will take a long time for them to infiltrate Canada and the US. But better to be aware....sad flower

Right Minnieme, anyway, we're not yet affected. It's the French news that's too serious. Even Belgium is very much alarmed. Thanks for dropping by.bouquet
