democracy is important. So vote leave won. The UK don't like the Germans and French too much imo. That said it was a largely "national front" style campaign that won it.
If I were Uk I would disregard the vote and stay in the EU. But I don't live in the UK so what to do?

it looks like scotland want to stay in the eu, and possibly a large portion of the north as well. this eu is a total disaster. i suspect we ll be back on the battlefields eventually to sort this one out!

there is some positives to the vote. White Christians won it really. As a white Christian that pleases me. That said in the age of the World wide web and global commerce trying to go it alone is not an option in my opinion. Enda Kenny and the Irish govt should be looking to try and start talks between the 2 sides.
They should hold "ceasefire" talks in other words. Surely there should be a solution to the problems where everyone gets something! If not all of what they wanted.

jt972: No way should the vote be held again, I'd bet
My life it will work out for the British in the end
At the expense of foreign workers

Wages will rises for the natives and the money
Will be spent in Britain not syphoned out
Through the western union, that practice is
Like putting a tube into a person and draining
Their blood

Not sure its up to us what they should and shouldn't do. Already some mp's are talking about a 2nd referendum.
Personally I think the tory leadership campaign will tell us a lot and a general election, with clear mandate on EU from either party, may resolve this.

Aragorn11: Am not so sure our country is that great to be honest, considering the numerous disasters we continually seem to perpetrate.

its not that great, our serious problems are growing fast and we re doing very little to deal with them, our housing situation is one of the most serious problems to have ever faced this state. its disturbing to see how bad we and our politicians are dealing with this.

thumbs up

The housing crisis needs to be addressed as a matter of priority, unfortunately can't see it happening.

Aragorn11: Wow, your an angry Man.
Tell you what, you stop telling me what to do and I won't start telling you what to do, agreed

I will run off and check the angling forums as whatever I read on the internet I take as gospel

And nice try at twisting my words, I never claimed most poachers were native, I suggest you read my post again and try comprehension this time.

I take it back, you said down your way, take a trip
To cork angling centre in togher, have a yap
With people their and ask them who's poaching

It points to a bigger picture, the take take mentality
Of many of our immigrant visitors, not all but many

I really hope even at this late stage that a deal can be done to keep UK in the EU. That said I hope our govt is looking out for N.I and Scotland, 2 areas that voted remain. Along with our green island of course.
