galrads: I think someone intentionally reported to the press that the truck was a refrigerated type to cover up the blunder for whoever (police/security) didn't recognize that fact and consequently let the murder through.
Not surprising given my personal experiences of how slack and sloppy the French attitudes are with Air Safety & maintenance - Air France in particular and the general carelessness of the French Filth both at Calais and when they were here even at Dover !!
purr4mance: it sure wasn't anything i remember as a kid running down the street chasing a nutty buddy. I don't see any refrigeration compressor/condenser unit on this vehicle either. after searching the web, looking at pics./videos,and reading, i'm beginning to believe there was a mistake by a reporting agency and the rest of the news sources just followed suit and went with refrigerated truck.
couldn't find anything inside cargo area.
i did find a pic that may help your curiosity...
Now, I'd probably let the ice cream delivery truck in this short video pass. Got to identify with what George Kennedy tells the kid to do with a duck at the end....
France's strict secular laws which ban the Islamic veil in schools and covering the face in public have outraged Islamic hardliners, according to religious historian Odon Vallet.
"For them France's clear-cut secularism is incompatible with Islam," he added.
The country's commitment to freedom of speech, which allows unfettered criticism of religion, has also put it in the jihadists' crosshairs.
The deadly attack against the Charlie Hebdo magazine in January 2015 came out of the assailants' fury at the satirical weekly's controversial cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed.
"France is the country where the debate over Islam" gets the most heated, argued sociologist Raphael Liogier.
But "history is also a hidden reason", Vallet said, pointing out France's "role in the break up of the Ottoman empire" in 1920 which led to the end of the caliphate.
The Sykes-Picot agreement that carved up Iraq and Syria between France and Britain is often cited by Islamic State as the root of the region's problems.
This "colonial history makes France one of IS's principal enemies," Vallet added.
'Social apartheid'
France is home to the biggest Muslim community in Europe, estimated at five million people.
Most are descended from families from the country's former northern African colonies, with which France has a painful shared history, with hundreds of thousands dying during the Algerian war of independence.
Job discrimination has further hampered integration, with some third- and even fourth-generation immigrants claiming they are not made to feel properly French.
Tensions with the police are never far from the surface in some of the rundown suburban housing estates with large immigrant populations, where youth unemployment runs at more than 40 percent.

Thanks for info. I was thinking the reasons for more recent terrorist nonsense in France was a retaliatory thing following France bombing Syria in the ISIS stronghold of Raqqa late last year.

I keep hoping France will follow in Britains footsteps and Frexit the EU soon. Then Brits and Froggies could join forces and help repatriate anyone living there to their origin if they are unhappy with the culture and customs where they live now. In either France or Britain.

you could be right about the truck, but i think most would be able to see for themselves that like you saw it didn't have a compressor, etc.
if that was their excuse, for trying to say they, the guards, weren't to blame, they didn't think it through to well. maybe that's why these terrorist attacks are succeeding over there so frequently.
they very recently, as of yesterday i believe, added 10,000 troops to assist with security so that is a good thing

On my side of the channel In Kent we have been yelling at the Tories and the B Liarite Liebore Politicians for 15 years to exercise force against the Frog attitude of shoulder shrugging and buck passing even to the extent that when Illegals can arrive at Pegwell bay and St Margarets Bay late at Night in darkness.
The Frog Filth predictably were reluctant to accept them until about 100 of our local people took the EU dictators laws into Peoples hands, got armed up and got them back to France safely by towing their boats byforce and threat dumped them on unguarded beaches and came back. That forced the issue a bit but not much so we will have to see what happens now.

even if britain and france were to team up, outside of booting them all out of the country there's not much they can do. evolution progresses at its own pace.
they've dug in and have assimilated poorly in both areas in question due to the muslims being more tribal than here in the states which means their not interested in going with the flow.

Wow godd to see that you have opened your eyes to some truths, you are still idealising the US, though I do agree with you that there is a difference between the two, however, I believe the difference is due to other factors not better assimiliation - I used to believe the situation was better in the US, however, in light of what has been going on there the last say 5 years, I have realized I was wrong.

hi cap,

Tighten the borders, tax the fast-breeding, deport the crimmos, and steal their women. Easy peasy.
We must also all start wearing t-shirts with a picture of mecca and the silhouette of a bomber jet on the front.

We shouldn't allow ourselves to be intimidated by them. I've first-hand experience of how easily a gang of muslims will surrender to a lone Englishmen with a cricket bat.

And self-defence classes for women and the remainians. There's jobs for brexiteers there teaching remainians how to throw a punch.

The numbers is the one - you have noticed that he situation is changing over there too - the higher the numbers.....Another one is the level of PC.
I agree about the security forces, the police - yours is trigger happy while ours are cowards. I wish there could be something in-between.
If Europe had remained the Europe it was 10, 20 years ago, the US could not be compared at all. I have stayed for some extended periods of time in the US, I liked it, but would never be able to live there
galrads: @ # 79 this video is over 1 hour and 40 minutes in length. Can you maybe provide a summary of highlights discussed in it? Thanks.
. No, you sit and watch it, theres much more religion to come you all love it and if l am not allowed to post anything here then l will post religion like everyone else in any forum exactly the same way that others do, get used to it.

the trigger happy are a small, very small percentage.
the large majority are sworn to serve and protect.
and i wasn't just talking about local level police officers.
i was referring to all our combined security forces. _____________________________________________________________ yes, our number of muslims are increasing here in the states but they seem to be assimilating well like the others that came before them.
pc..... can't really argue this point with you as one must live and work within the area in question to make a determination. i've never been to europe.
