The majority of people who voted, 52%, voted leave, on a turnout of 74% which means less than 40% of the electorate voted to leave.
So what you're saying is factually incorrect.
Also preliminary guesstimates suggest between 1 and 2 million of Leave votes would change their vote if they could.

It became unsafe long before Trump came into the picture.
No matter who ends up taking Obama's place at the helm it will continue to be unsafe.
Completely agree Cc, the world was not a safe place before Brexit or Trump, and will continue to be unfortunately.
I just think both are cashing in on polarisation, islamaphobia and immigration and their rhetoric fuels those that have prejudice. After Brexit the race crimes against all immigrants in the UK rose exponentially, which tells its own story.
