rohaan: Why not just join a card club or square dance group then, and forget about the internet entirely? I don't think you understand what I am trying to convey. If you don't want to participate on the internet, then there are alternatives in every community, where you can actually see and meet and discern people. It is disingenuous to want to be able to do this yourself, yet restrict others from doing the same. Don't use social media if it really isn't what you want. (duh)

Thank you for your patience with me. I do not see that, but, I trust laoised implicitly and liked what she had to say. I still think my view is valid overall. What is the harm of getting notes and letters, and if one doesn't care for them, then not responding or blocking at that time? My inbox is never so full that I cannot manage it, and I delete unwanted mail from time to time. Is it really that much of a hardship? And, what about the one chance in a thousand you might miss by not being open to getting mail. And, why have a mailbox if you don't want mail? Do you understand how and why I see it the way I do? However, I think you are missing the point of what this man has himself said, that he is looking for "materialistic support" in addition to food and shelter.
It appears that he is annoyed that members have blocked him from certain countries in particular Sweden. He wants to get in touch with a Swedish woman because his desire is to go to university there AND he wants her to support his goals, meaning financial support.
You need to go back to the beginning of the thread how he responded to each CS member.
