2intrigued: You're welcome Jo....any time.

Modular is good but then there's the matter of water, sewage and electricity hookup which could be a challenge depending on where it's located and likely would cost more bucks than I have. And, I enjoy having the convenience of being relatively close to shopping, theatres and other conveniences....yeah, I'm spoiled.

i mean empty lot with water, sewage, and hydro/gas at street next to lot. but you're right...still have to pay to get it into the yard...laugh (i had to do that with this since previous house was demolished, and the old gas electric lines had to be replaced.) i even had to buy my own friggin telephone pole....$1000....but they said i could carve into it, no deeper than 2" (now there's a project that's unlikely to happen....laugh )

here....everything is less than 1/2 hour away...
it's a small place ...yanno...laugh

sending you photos of where i spend my time when away from home grin

Yeah, the services are out in the street and it could get pricey getting it to the house as you've discovered but now you have a wood base to carve out your very own totem pole. giggle Everything here is two minutes away and it's a big place so go figure. laugh hug

we have one of those white metal sheds in our backyard...
1) how to 'beautify' it...?

2) the condensation is awful...so can't really store anything in it. i've looked online...but do you have any suggestions for the condensation?

thankscheers

Yes mamm thumbs up

Where shed meets the concrete use silicone and seal right around, and also in the channel where the metal sheets are rivited into (at bottom)..

For the bigger gaps where the roof sheets meet the top of walls, (in between the profile of the metal gaps) use expanding foam which can get at hardware shops in cans. Be careful coz it looks like a little bit that comes out, but expands VERY quickly and you might fill shed with you in it like a fossil laugh

ps, want me to come over and do it for you grin

Hope i made sense tip hat

pss, Don't forget to shake like she did blushing wink

thank u

i understand how that would help with the leaks...why does it help with the temperature condensation?
don't get tooooo technical.... grin

it's on a wood platform ?(...couldn't commit to concrete...laugh )

i saw online the foam....
heck..it's gonna take a bit of time and i think i need to wait till spring now as it rains most days. we have to dry it out first me thinks...

i thought of putting cedar on it so it matches fence... but truth be told, i don't like the thing enough to invest so much time, energy, and $. i even looked at used pallet designs...doh

i think the more active part of my 'we' will be BB....(grin)
looks like a 'blue' job to me....and i'll stick with the 'pink' ones...laugh
i'll help...but as an assistant. grin

I like the way it looks just now ...

That's well trimmed but not quite as 'freshly scalped' as it looked two weeks ago when I called in a contractor !

Not a gardener ... I have the Green Thumbs of Plant Death !
