i dont have ANY apps on my phones,,,"NONE"
even if you buy an unlocked phone it has
so many tracking scripts, like 120 google ones
and 100 more in the bloatware that
you cant even see till you root the phone and Strip
Out Everything, making it a dumb phone and a computer router,
Always buy phones in pairs in case you strip out too much
of the OS, than you have a quick backup while restoring
and starting over on the first one.
and the router side is programmable and great for a VPN,,,
and works well with a ship to shore repeater.
and no matter what anyone says, android does not need google
to run, android is a stand alone operating system.
and a reminder if there are no apps there is nothing to hack.

I don't remember exactly what LG did when they locked down my phone, had expressly grant permission for them to patch (more so than just google update) they locked pretty much everything best as i could tell.
Also LG can be patched with all google LG security says updates will include all the security patches released by Google and patches for LG-specific security issues.
Which are separate to the massive Korean based lock-down was installed on my LG 3 phone, and i generally have, wi-fi, mobile data and google turned off...
