newinsouth: The highlight of my new year so far:

Being in the south and reading about and seeing that snow in the northeast. When I lived up there I panicked when snow was forecast. Trying to find someone to help me dig out. It's a lot better down here.

Love snow myself but only for a short while.
Ur enjoying the sunshine where u r so.
Nice wine

KarloradoFL: I fell asleep just before midnight on New Years Eve. On New Years day I watched the Vienna Philharmonic New Years concert and fell asleep when they started to play the Blue Danube Waltz. The guest conductor was Riccardo Muti. My slippers are moccasins and they are over 12 years old and still holding up. My Mother got the shingles and a good friend of mine has bladder cancer but he had the cancer removed in an operation but is now undergoing chemo therapy.

Wishing ur Mother and ur Friend a speedy recovery a d hope all goes well for ur friend with Chemo...not an easy time for ye.

Well I figure as long as I'm doing something that doesn't seem like "work" it still counts as retirement.. grin

Plus I will have a team that will handle most of the work.. I'll just be managing overall. My livelihood doesn't depend on it either way so its all good. wink

A guy from the county council came around to replace a bulb in the street lamp outside my house.
I was watching him and thought;
"man those lights are High" laugh

True story that!
